The Blog module ships with the core license. It is where announcements, release notes and editorial posts go, written by the same members who post in the forum.

Posts#

Blog > Posts lists everything written, published or not. A post has a title, a category, a cover image, the body and its publication state. The editor is the same one the forum uses, so attachments, embeds and formatting behave identically.

Categories#

Blog > Categories groups posts. A category has a name, a slug and its own permissions, which is how you keep an internal category readable only by staff while the rest of the blog is public.

Who can write#

Writing is a permission, granted per member group. Bondry does not have a separate author role: you decide which groups publish, and the group matrix does the rest. That is the WordPress-style arrangement, not the per-member blog of some forum products.

Comments#

Comments are granted per group too, and they have their own reports queue at Blog > Reports, separate from the forum one so the two do not drown each other.

Settings#

Blog > Settings covers how many posts a page shows, whether comments are open by default and whether the blog appears in the main navigation.
