About the modules
Does the Designer replace my theme?
Designer works alongside your theme. The theme provides default styles and screens; Designer customizes the pages and sections you choose.
What happens to my pages if I uninstall it?
Uninstalling removes Designer data, including its layouts. Affected screens return to the theme or module defaults. Back up first. To pause use while preserving data, disable the module instead.
How are layouts stored?
Designer saves layouts in the database, separately from theme and module files. You can customize your site without modifying those files. Keep backups and review release notes before applying updates.
